"We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children"

As promised, I've provided a strong voice for Ward 6 on City Council
I've done my best to:
I serve on Planning & Parks and Master Plan 10-year Update Committees, Historic Preservation Commission, and I've served on our Watershed Erosion, Tree Preservation and Planting Guide, and Rural Internet Access Committees, along with various other standing and ad hoc Council or Resident Committees, whenever needed.
No matter the task, I always do my homework, show up, listen, respectfully consider all points of view, do more homework, and then try to accommodate everyone as best I can.
NO decision will please everyone, but my logic will always be clear. My opinions are always subject to change in light of new information or resident support of a strong factual argument, but not in response to changing political winds.
I hope to continue that important work

My family has called the Hollow area of Wildwood home since the 1850’s.
The "Hollow" area has been central to my life since I was born. I have a deep appreciation for our rugged, rural landscape, and a clear commitment to the natural beauty of our area.
My 48-acre valley has passed down to me through four prior generations. I built my home myself, using logs I cut from the site to make trim, floors, stairs, cabinets, & furniture.
My grandparents' home stood alongside Hwy 100 (Route 66) until the 1970's MODOT widening project. Grandpa was a Meramec Township Constable. From 1917-1967 his auto service business stood where my mailbox is today. Mom and her siblings attended the 1-room Hollow School and Dad attended Old Pond School. My dear Aunt "Bebe" was a well-known local horticulturalist and historian, and her house is on part of my family land.
I've grown up knowing the social and natural histories of Wildwood. We often visited the hiking trails at our State and County Parks. I have fond memories of our old-timey local general stores and other local establishments, from Big Chief to Stovall's Grove.
